Our Greeley office provides walk-in drive test appointments Monday through Friday, 9 AM to noon, for $100 cash only. If you have already paid through your account and wish to do a walk-in, you will need to pay the difference to secure a walk-in spot.

Colorado law is changing soon to require that students be at least 14 years and 9 months old on the first day of their driver’s education course — including online courses.
If a student begins the online program before reaching this age, they may not receive credit for completing the course once the new law takes effect.
To stay compliant and prevent any loss of credit, students who are under 14 years and 9 months on the start date of the course should wait to register until they meet the age requirement.

All teens who want to get their driver’s license before age 16 1/2 are required to have six hours of BTW training with a certified instructor.
Parents: To maximize the value of our driving lessons (to get the MOST out of your money), we recommend driving with your student for about six months and/or 10 hours minimum of BTW time before booking lessons with us. Once they’re comfortable with the basics, we can focus on more advanced skills for a more effective learning experience.
– All 6 hours of driving will be completed with the same instructor.

At Anshor Driving School, defensive driving techniques are behind everything we’ve taught since 1994: every classroom hour, every behind-the-wheel lesson, every conversation with our instructors. Our students are leaders on the road, wearing their seatbelt, putting down their phone, and making smart decisions to keep themselves and other drivers on the road safe.

We offer both a 30-hour in-person classroom course and a 30-hour online driver’s ed program in partnership with AAA. The online course is self-paced, interactive, and state-approved, making it a great fit for students with busy schedules or families outside our classroom locations.
As a state-approved third-party testing site, Anshor lets you schedule your Colorado driving test directly with us at participating locations and test with experienced examiners. This service is available to the general public, not just Anshor students.
Colorado law generally requires minors to hold their permit for one full year (365 days) before taking the road test. Requirements can vary depending on the student’s age and licensing path, so we recommend confirming your specific timeline with our team or the Colorado DMV.
