- *** If you are required by law to take an interlock test please add the additional fee to your package.
Everyone will use our company vehicle to take the test. The test takes an average of 20 minutes. READ BELOW TO SEE WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING:
- You must have a valid permit to take the test
- Pictures of your permit are NOT allowed.
- You may use the MyColorado App for proof of your permit.
16-18 years old:
- If you have not held your permit for one full year according to the issue date on your permit, you will not be able to test.
- Note: If you are under 16.5 years old and live within 30 miles of any driving school, you may pass the test, but the law will not allow you to get your license until you have also completed 6 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction with a certified instructor. You can sign up for the 6 hours BTW time HERE, or wait until you are 16.5 years old to take the test.

Behind The Wheel Lessons
Behind-the-Wheel Training Only
Session #1- Basic driving skills around town and highway skills (3 Hours)
Session #2- Highway and mountain pass skills (3 Hours)*
*All students progress at different skill levels. For safety reasons, students should have at least 10 hours of driving practice before beginning behind-the-wheel training with an instructor. Without this, we may need to focus on basic skills rather than advanced techniques.
COLORADO LAWS SAYS: All teens who want to get their driver’s license before age 16.5 are required to have six hours of BTW training with a certified instructor.

2 Hour Private Lesson
Do you need additional drive time? Or are you nervous about passing your driving test?
Come and drive with us! These 2 hours are just for you! Whatever you feel you need to work on we are happy to help you.
You will use our company car and you must hold a valid permit or driver’s license to register. All lessons must be completed within a year of the enrollment date.

Important Notice for Students Under 14 Years and 9 Months
Colorado law is changing soon to require that students be at least 14 years and 9 months old on the first day of class to enroll in a driver’s education course.
To stay compliant with this new regulation, students who are under 14 years and 9 months on the first day of class will not be able to register.
We want to avoid any disruption — such as students registering early and later being removed from class once the law takes effect — so we appreciate your patience as we adapt to this change.

4 Hour Course (In-Person)
This course is the State of Colorado-accredited 4-Hour Drivers Awareness Course.
If you are between the ages of 15.5 and 16 years of age, this class is for you!
If you choose to take the written permit test after completing the class you will need to bring to class a pre-registration code from the DVM. You can find the link to get the pre-registration code HERE.

Written Permit Test (In-Person)
This course consists of:
- 1 Written Permit Test
The written permit test is required to have a permit issued by the DMV. Since you are not already a student of ours, you will need to bring:
- A picture ID or your old license.
- If you have never had a license, please pre-register on the DMV website and bring in your confirmation number.
